Wendy Spector

Wendy Spector was the mother of Marc and Randall Spector, and the wife of Elias Spector. After Randall died in a drowning incident, she became physically and psychologically abusive towards Marc, blaming him for Randall's death. She eventually passed away. Wendy Spector used to be a sweet mother who loved both of her sons. However, upon losing her younger son, Randall, Wendy's mind severally deteriorated to the point that she blamed her eldest son Marc for his death and developed an intense hatred for him. During Marc's birthdays, she would refuse to celebrate the day. Eventually, she expressed her hatred for Marc by becoming physically abusive towards him. This is demonstrated when on his twelfth birthday, she whipped him with a belt in his room multiple times. Her hatred of her son was so great that to cope with it, Marc developed the alternate personality Steven Grant who only remembered how good she was despite the mental and physical abuse she put him through. Wendy's hate of Marc would continue well into his adulthood until the day she died, with Marc ultimately being unable to forgive his mother despite still loving her.
